Le Macchiole – Le Macchiole 2008
Le Macchiole is the little wine from the big winery Le Macchiole. For sure we cannot compare it with the big brothers of the family, Messorio, Scrio and Paleo but considering the small investment of 18€ to buy it in Italy it worth. We are far from the others but not so far. The blend of merlot , cabernet and syrahis convincing. The wine as a fantastic violet colour and a nose with a discrete complexity, but this year seems young giving the impression that this wine can still grow a lot. What else? For sure this wine give the possibility to try the “Macchiole taste” whitout an important investment in terms of money, and for sure it’s an interesting wine. We will see in a couple of years what this wine will be, for now my suggestion it’s to start buy it the only risk is that you’ll in your hands a good wine.
